Yes. Same square four-stud mount.

These are great because any size board will fit, and the arm holds each board independently, meaning nothing moves around. It is a great setup.

When rotated in do you think the vertical boards will hit speakers....additionally does it have a 0, 90 and a 180 stop

I didn't check on the 0/90/180 stops.

I think most wakeboards would be fine but wider surf boards may hit the speakers. I will look into this.

I haven't gotten my set of the new Roswell Triton racks yet. I have just played with a few sets at Roswell and at Nautique.

From what I understand, Nautique's reluctance to embrace clamping racks in the past was due to the safety aspect. Consider this scenario:

• Wakeboarder falls
• Boat circles back to pick him up
• Nobody notices that the rope has caught on the other wakeboard in the rack.
• Driver accelerates to pull the rider back up
• Wakeboard is pulled out of the clamping rack with lots of force, goes into the boat, and hits a passenger

This scenario can be prevented with bungees, or with the Roswell Triton rack.

That being said, I like the Roswell Triton and the PTM Edge ClampForce racks for different reasons. The Roswell Triton racks eliminate the safety issue noted above, and they eliminate the annoying bungees that everyone hates. They hold the boards more upright (kind of like the old Flight Clips used to), and that may cause issues with larger surf boards hitting the speakers when the racks are rotated in, although I am not positive about that yet. Larger surf boards would likely cause a similar issue with the PTM Edge ClampForce racks. The PTM Edge ClampForce racks have two clamps per board, and those clamps can be adjusted independently.

I am going to try to run both the Roswell Triton and the PTM Edge ClampForce racks on my G23 this year if I can find a way to mount them both. Then I will be able to do a side-by-side comparison.

How exactly do bungees prevent this scenario? I don't see them holding back on the force exerted when pulling up a rider.

when there is no board in these , imo , they look bulky and crap hanging off the side of the tower. i've had clamping ( mastercraft ) and bungee ( current nautique) and you can't beat the clamping racks. If a driver goes to take off without noticing the rope is caught around a board he shouldn't be driving at all. nautiques excuse seems a bit of a cop out after the other brands have had clamping for so long and i've never heard of that happening. You could use a "what if" scenario for heaps of safety concerns with wakeboarding and wakesurfing.

someone forgets to put the bungee on after a board goes back in , bungee is hooked around other boards boot so no one notices, boat goes over wash from another boat , board falls out of rack into boat and hits passenger, ( have heard of that actually happening but it missed the passengers).wasn't in my boat.

I agree completely, there are hundreds of potentially dangerous things that can happen when boarding, the safety excuse is a cop out. The MC clamping racks are awesome.

Here they are priced at $999 each so 2g for both which is almost half of the 4g ptm's cost
