Cant wait to see some reviews. I love clamping racks but I like the Roswell option too. the ability to fold in 100% with boards loaded will be important.

I have a set of ptm clamping racks that I am looking to sell, if anyone is interested. They are in excellent condition, but there is one kicker.... they were originally on a Supra, so they say "Supra" on them. However, I have to believe someone could be crafty with a nautique decal or something similar. I had them on my 2016 G. No stories and nothing wrong with them. Looking to sell for $1500.00 if anyone is interested. Also, because this set was for a Supra, they have the quick attach mount assemblies, and still bolt directly to the nautique tower.
going to post in for sale section soon.

I played with every single rack on every single manufacturer at the boat show and the ptm ones were definitely my favourite. The operation to clamp and un-clamp was just so easy, and swivelling them in was super easy and they lock in place easily. Also they definitely look the best. It seems like most (not all) manufactures have them as a factory option too (Malibu, tige, supra...)
The new Nautique ones just didn't have the same fit and finish as the ptm ones. Also they weren't nearly as easy to work, when the salesperson had to show me how to work them it totally turned me off for them not being user friendly. Also they're butt ugly.

I have some of these coming on my 17 G23, so I should be able to try them out in a couple of weeks. I didn't think I would like them until I got to spend some time looking at them and playing around with them at the boat show. The PTMs are my favorite as well, but I have been on my buddies M235 and watched a board fly out of one of them at speed. Could it have been that the board wasn't clamped in tightly enough? Sure. That's still not something that could happen with these racks.

Saw them at the show, and thought they were sort of ugly. I also thought they were hard to "work" without standing on the seat. I am coming from bungee, so I opted to stay that way. A rope wrapped around the boards is goign to break something no matter what. I have ridden in many mastercrafts with the clamping racks and while simple to operate, I watch as the boards catch wind and strain on the clamps and vibrate. Functionally the clamps seem better, but the price is out of this world.

I'm interested in comments on the PTM clamping racks, not the ones from Roswell. They look ugly and I am thinking the boards will not rotate in 180 degrees without hitting my Rev10s
Anybody have real world experience with the PTM racks?2015 G23 550

The Nautique Strapless board racks made their debut in 2017. Designed to make it really simple to stow all of your boards up and out of the way, these racks ...
