I called CC this morning to followup on an order. I was told John Givens no longer works there. What gives?

i know nothing of this, but if it is true is damian next? man they turn over alot of people lately. makes you wonder what is going on down there. you would think that most employees would be looking forward to the new digs. i mean nice modern new offices and production areas.

Based upon PN information, could they be down to two or three in their Customer Service area. That is not very many for a company of their size, longevity, and international sells (G.Britain, Ireland, Canada, Japan, ...). It also depends on how the assorted tasks are distributed internally. Also, let us not forget their dealer network. Part of any dealer (retail establishment) responsibility is customer service. Corr Cr's network obviously played a MAJOR part in their 4th JD Power award. ER

ER, thats an interesting point... one reason why I was wondering how many people are down there. Here's a question though, do the CC Customer Service people deal personally w/ the dealers and their "complaints" as well? While we were buying our boat and had some major (3rd party) issues, NOT OUR DEALER'S FAULT AT ALL, I felt it was Us and our Dealer vs. Orlando. I just think its interesting to see if the dealers talk to the same people we talk to when both of us are fighting for the same thing.... but thats just me...I Nautique, therefore I am.

John Givens is gone%#@%?? I heard Damians not in charge of customer service any more -- whats goin on at CC??
New people coming in left and right without a clue as to what CC's all about and the people that built CC are getting tossed out like garbage.
I'm still ticked that my dealer tells me I can't buy a 2007 with a right hand prop cause they went to that brand new little vdrive which can only use a left hand prop. I don't want a left hand prop -- if I did I'd buy a Malibu !!
Sooooo it looks like I'm going to have to leave the CC family and by a Centurion -- I called them and they'll build me a boat with a right hand prop.

John is just one of many whom have been axed recently. I am another. Why? We have no idea. I have the recent info that Terry McNew is going to go back to Sea Ray. Wonder why? I will say this. If you are going to axe someone you should provide them with adequete information as to the reason. Hopefully we all collect our "adequate" unemployment checks and know that they are not too much less if any, than our paychecks were.

"I'm not so sure how high CC would look on one their former employees just getting out and is now ranting on them... Not a good image IMHO.... "
Abundiga - Do you really think he cares what CC thinks at this point. He was fired without enough knowledge as to why.? Most people would be "ranting' much worse then that.

dba4life-honestly I wouldn't know how to react to being fired to a company I appreciate--I've never been in that position before, which is why I said "take it with a grain of salt."
Anyway, former, sorry if I game the wrong impression, I didn't mean to call you out, it just seemed a little weird, first post, dissapointment with the company, first one to admit a relationship with them, etc... sorry... What position did you have there?I Nautique, therefore I am.
