Roswell Triton Vertical Clamping Board Racks

Does anyone have these new clamping board racks or has anyone had an opportunity to try them out? I'm trying to decide if they are worth the $1700 upgrade over the standard board racks. I don't know if they will clear tower speakers when rotated in with boards in place.

They sure look strange, and quite bulky. Also would having all the weight of the board resting on the rail be good for it? It also seems like it might bounce around a lot.
If I were upgrading I would order with no racks and get the ptm clamping ones.

If I'd put any money into racks it'd be the PTM clamping racks. In my opinion the bungee racks look nicer than the Roswell ones. Even if the Roswell racks function better I'd go stock over those.. just my opinion

Here's my 2 cents . Don't fix it if it ain't broke.
Simpler things tend to last longer . Just my opinion and staying with my bungee

I don't know if anyone would be willing to buy them. I guess you would have to find someone who accidentally hit them on something, otherwise, aren't they standard equipment? I don't recall an upcharge, I just thought the stock racks were part of the tower package.

They are standard equipment, but you can buy a Roswell Universal clamp and mount it on any tubular tower. Someone would buy them. The question is how much they would be willing to pay. After having 3 moving sales this past fall, I'm convinced that people will buy anything.

The Roswell Triton racks are an option on all new Super Air Nautiques from now on.

I did not know the universal clamp existed...In that case, I would check out my tower and probably be interested in a rack, if I think I can put it in a decent location above the stock one. I would probably pay 2-300 for one.

Here's the latest info I've seen on the Triton Racks. Seen them in person and they work really well, simple to use. The wife and kids seem to like them better than the bungee style, easier to use I guess.
