I have ordered a new G23, and I am wanting to see what you guys are towing them with. Pics attached to the boat would be appreciated. I am caught between two new truck and just want to see what you guys are towing with. I don't want to muddy the water with what I am looking at, so please pics and rigs would be appreciated.

Oh good grief. Why do we have to do this again? It's simple:
Boat dry weight: 5900 pounds
Fuel: 65 gallon at 7 pounds/gallon: 455 pounds
Boards, cooler, etc.: 200 pounds
Trailer: 1200 pounds
Total: 7755 pounds
And because you never want to be right at the limit, you need a tow rig capable of pulling 8500 pounds minimum and it needs to be properly wired for the trailer brakes.

I mostly see full-size pickups and SUVs towing boats this heavy.

Ya I figured most are using 3/4 tons. I know Natiques are heavier than other boats of their size. Quality adds weight! Lol. I have two trucks I am looking at and just wanted to see other rigs with G23's attatched. I do appreciate the input I was just trying to get this post on the right track, didn't want it to turn into a post like the Q post.
