G23 Tow rigs with pics

2009 F150 - tow a G25 with an Equalizer WDH. Normally in a boathouse so my tows are just for nonroutine dealer service. Dealer winterizes and does oil changes on site in boathouse.

Looks like a Buxton Boat.

I have ordered a new G23, and I am wanting to see what you guys are towing them with. Pics attached to the boat would be appreciated. I am caught between two new truck and just want to see what you guys are towing with. I don't want to muddy the water with what I am looking at, so please pics and rigs would be appreciated.

Seeing these half tons makes me feel better about what I am wanting to buy. Deciding between a 2017 F250 6.7 or a 2017 Raptor. I have owned both in the past and know what the Superduty will do, but haven't pulled a nautique with a raptor. Especially the G23, if it was a 210 i wouldn't be thinking about it.

I still tow mine with my trusty 2005 Ford Excursion with the 6.0 Diesel. Love that truck!

Neither really. West side, south of Chandler.....east of the 315 bridge that crosses Flat Creek area. We are on the pennisula (Henderson Point) that comes way out in the lake and has that island at the tip, if you know where that is. Pretty much the thinnest part of that pennisula is where we are. Blue Water Key neighborhood. Where about's are you?

The Raptor has a significantly lower tow rating than the Platinum, FX4, or lariat (8,000 lbs vs 11,700 lbs). Raptor is an awesome truck but would not be my choice as a tow vehicle. Probably due to the soft off road suspension. My 16 platinum tows the G23 pretty well here in the flat land. If I had to tow on any hills I would probably get the 3/4 ton truck. Fortunately I keep the boat on a lift and rarely ever need to tow it.

I am aware of the rating difference. I had a 2012 raptor and towed with it some, the rear suspension didn't sag any worse under a load than any other half ton I have owned. That truck actually towed better than a reg half ton, I pulled loads from Amarillo TX to Sacramento CA on 5 occasions with it. It never missed a beat. We will see what I decided, I literally go back and fourth with each minute. The raptor hit the dealer yesterday and they are getting it ready to sell now. so I have today to figure out what I want to do.
