I grew up in clarendon and canyon. Meredith is finally up and in great shape since they redid all the ramps and facilities. I have friends at tanglewood so the new boat will spend some weekends there, but primarily Meredith/Allen Henry.

Not a g23. But here is my rig with my g21. I rarely tow since the boat stays on the lift under roof year round.

8k on paper makes for a real easy lawsuit if you ever get in a wreck while you're over loaded, which you are... whether it's your fault or not. Not sure
why people buy a $150k+ boat because it's exceptional at everything it does and then tow it with something that isn't.

Way below a normal F-150. A quick look through the online specs, the 2017 (non-raptors) with the Eco-Boost are rated for over 11K towing.

Awesome boats! Hard to believe how BIG the G-series boats are. They just dwarf full-sized SUVs / Trucks. Beautiful, but also a little cartoonish (no offense, please) from some angles. I'm sure the wake they throw is mind-blowing.
This is coming from a guy with a nice, but comparably very small 2001 SAN. I don't dare ride behind a G-series for fear of wanting one (badly) Somebody keep theirs nice so I can buy it when deprecation has done some whittling of the values....

Yeah...that new Raptor is an awesome truck for sure. 450 hp...0-60 in 5 seconds flat. Probably not the "Best" tow vehicle for a G23...but depending on how often and distance towed and where boat is kept...it will probably be just fine.
