    Best cover for SAN 210?

    Hi fellow boaters,

I'm looking for help in finding a suitable cover for my SAN 210 Team Edition with FCT3 tower, year 2010. The boat will be sitting in the water all summer and I would like something that can be fitted with ease, without straps (cinch cover?).

The climate here in Sweden can be quite harsch, so the cover should be quite strong to protect from rain and sun. What type of fabric would you recommend?

    Thanks in advance!

Coversports is known for making great covers, I don't have first hand experience, but many on this site like them.

If you do not have experience with a vendor you should not be making recommendations for or against them. I am going through a nightmare with Coversports right now trying to get a cover made. Nothing but excuse after excuse. Ordered the cover in August 2016 was quoted 4-6 weeks delivery, at this point, in January 2017 we are at 5 months and counting. I don't think he has even started on it. Am considering cancelling the order, dealing with getting a refund and finding someone else to make my cover. Be advised if you decide to go down this road your lead time will be excessive and my never get a cover. I have seen pictures of these covers on this an other forums and they look great, but at this point I'm about to give up on this.

I have had experience with Evolution Covers, and they are great! I am on my third cover with them (3rd boat, not because the others wore out) and at this point, they will always be my go to if I ever get another boat. Cory is the owner and is great to work with. You can call him directly at the number on his website and he will walk you through all the options and provide some of his recommended feedback. He is also usually very backed up, so earlier the order the better. His schedule gets very busy once spring rolls around. But the wait is worth it. His covers are cinch style and do no require any poles. You can also add quite a bit of customization to it as well. I'm not sure if he has a template for your boat, but if you can find someone in his area you might be able to talk them into having him use their boat for a template. http://evolutioncovers.com/

Thank you both for your replies!

I've been looking at a cover from SkiBoatCovers.com, and from boatcoversdirect.com. Boat Covers Direct offer Carver, Shoretex and Westland covers. SkiBoatCovers seems to be custom made.

SkiBoatCovers is pretty much twice as expensive (including international shipping and with Sunbrella fabric) as a a Carver or Westland cover from Boat Covers Direct. But, then I don't know the quality of those covers.

Any thoughts on that price difference?
