Apparently what was a total of $850 to transfer the warranty to a new owner is now $2,100 for a 2018 year model and up. That is ridiculous.
If someone has proof of a lesser amount, please let me know.

Wow, that's insane! Agreed, it should be $0.

I find a grand total of $1,600 as a fee to transfer the warranty one time and one time only. This is in my owners manual. $400 for hull, stringers and deck. $1,200 for engine and base.
Not sure what the extra $500 is that the dealer is quoting but I assume a inspection fee to them.

That $ amount is crazy...Not only should it be 0, I don't even see the point of having to register as new owner, and transfer. Just prove your hours by taking your boat to a dealer when you want to file a warranty claim...

Should be just like the automotive, motorcycles, and RV.s . No fee to transfer warranty period
