Issues with water coming into rear walk-thru?

Does anyone experience on-going issues with water coming into the G23 or 25 through the rear walk-thru area? We recently test drove a G-25, and each time we slowed down the dealer told us to watch backwash coming into the rear area. We like the overall hull design and walk thru rear access on G25 better than MC x26 design, but want to make sure it's not a constant battle to not flood the rear of the boat. I assume common sense will take care of any potential issues with backwash, but wanted to get some first hand experience as well. Thanks for any insights or thoughts as we are about to pull the trigger on a 2016 G25.........

If you stop from full speed to nothing and got a huge wave behind you, you will be wet. Just turn when you slow down and you will be fine. You cannot have your cake and eat it too

Yea, it's something you just have to learn to handle. After a couple of times on the water you'll figure out quickly how to keep it from happening. It's really not a big deal.

Its only a problem when fully ballasted and chopping the throttle at wakeboard speeds. All you have to do, is turn slightly when you come to a stop, or feather back the throttle as the boat drops of from plane and the wake catches you. This happens with lots of boats when they are carrying 3k of ballast.

that said, it doesn't happen at all when surfing, no matter the weight. It also doesn't happen when cruising unloaded. It is only from speeds of 17+, and when fully ballasted.

What Wayward said. I find it to be no big deal. It never has happened to me while surfing or while unballasted.

Thank you for the responses. All made sense. I have gotten tons of great information over the past couple weeks on this forum, so hopefully my next post will be pictures of the G25!
