    What the heck do I refer to my boat as?

    I see lots of the Nautique folks talk about their hulls and models in "code speak" so to say. Is there a list of what the heck all these are?

    SAN
    SANTE (I think I get those)
    SV
    BN

    All this kind of thing. I recently bought a '96 Super Sport. What do I refer to it as when asking for help? Which hull is it, stuff like that. Any help would be cool.

    SAN = super air nautique
    SANTE = super air nautique team edition
    SV = sport V (I believe, just a model designation)
    BN = barefoot nautique
    SNOB = ski nautique open bow

    I believe your Super Sport could be referred to as a SS or just super sport. That's a v-drive version right?

      SAN - super air nautique
      SANTE (I think I get those) - super air nautique team edition
      SV - I think you mean SV211 which was a certain model of nautique with a side walk through, not sure though
      BN - Barefoot Nautique
      SNOB - ski nautique open bow

      the numbers mostly go with lengths of boat
      SAN 210 - super air nautique 21ft
      SAN 230 - super air nautique 23ft

      There are some other models like 236 and 211 which again mostly mean 23ft and 21ft respectively but just different models that are no longer in production

      G-series and GS series are whole additional different model but again numbers fit with lengths

      Hope this helps!

        Correct, it's a V-drive. Just want to talk the talk if you know what I mean. I'm totally new to this and trying to pick up as much as I can.

              Roger that. Trust me, even reading this board and everyone with their $130,000 boats, I'm super stoked and proud. It's my first boat and I'm just itching to go pick it up in the spring. I'm in Michigan and the lakes are all ice so it makes reading this forum just brutal...

                            Your boat is Nautique Super Sport

                            so more commonly referred to a Super Sport or SS

                            The Super Air Nautique (SAN) and the Super Air Nautique Team Editiin (SANTE)from 99-06 share the same hull and performance charactistics of your boat. The SS, SAN, and SANTE are basically the same boat with just different standard and gelcoat options.

                            if you were to search NSS you probably wouldn't get much info except on the Nautique Surf System.
