"Buying a new boat is an emotional decision not a logical decision but I'd say if you can afford it go for it!"

    Well said.

I think I would disagree with DocPhil that the difference in surf wave is big. I went from a 15 (same hull as 13) to a 16 and cannot tell all that much difference. Keep in mind that Phil is a pretty refined surfer and has much greater insight and experience than most of us into surf waves. I also don't get out much on other people's boats, which I think he has done quite a bit.

The spray issue is really a lot better, but if it doesn't bug you on the 13, you won't think much about it. Depends on your usage patterns. Tubers and people on smaller lakes who cannot constantly run in one direction will notice the spray. If I could run parallel to the wind, it was no big deal, but my lakes are small and you run out of real estate.

I cannot tell a difference in the rough water ride. I think they both were the best wakeboat I have been in as far as smooth ride in the chop.

I also had the ZR450 in the 15 and H6 in the 16. I cannot tell much difference there, although everyone tells me there is.
