    Buxton Marine top notch

I wanted to post about my recent experience with Buxton Marine. Usually the only posts about a dealer is when something bad happens. In this case, everything was perfect. I just purchased a 2014 G23 from Buxton without even seeing it in person. I live in California and Buxton is in Texas. Andrew (Buxton) not only sent me detailed pictures of the boat but also a walk around video and a lake test video. I could not even come close to the price I got at Buxton in California. I also can't say enough about Eric. He is the transportation company that Buxton uses. Buxton shrink wrapped the boat for me and Eric made the trip in a day and a half. Needless to say I was a little nervous until the boat showed up today. Pictures didn't do the boat justice. It even looks better in person. Lake trip already planned for tomorrow before the next round of storms hit. Thank you again Andrew and Eric. Only dealership I will buy a boat from in the future.

Buxton is a solid dealer for sure. I bought 206 from them some years ago and was very happy with the price and service. I'm in the Pac NW now, and just bought a 200 from Pacific Nautiques, which is also a very solid dealer. I'd recommend either dealer without reservation.

I agree and I didn't even buy a boat from them. (Long story) They are a class act. Only thing we're missing here are some pics of your new ride.

Bought my last Nautique from Andrew as well, sight unseen. Great dealership to work with!

Buxton is great! Thankfully, my house is only about 5 miles from them, but they definitely go above and beyond in every way. Awesome dealership!!

Do any of you have problems getting your boats serviced when they are purchased out of your local dealers area?

Phil and Andrew are A+++ folks, and their level of service is the best I have ever seen, it's that good and consistently that good. I'm a 2x Buxton customer... and it won't be the last.

I think a large part of their succes is they enjoy what they are doing and they have an actual connection and affinity to the water sports. Buxton employees enjoy working for Phil.

as a contrast... it's clear which Dealers have ZERO connection to water sports... it's just a job for money... and the work environment for their employees is miserable, and high employee turnover. New Service Manager yearly is a strong indication.

I have never had an issue. I suppose that varies by dealership though? Our local dealer is smart enough not to upset potential future buyers. Of course, the last 2 new boats I've purchased have been non-currents, so no issues with the territorial thing. Just last week I went to our local dealer, to ask some misc questions on our new boat. They couldn't have been nicer, acting as though we bought it from them.

I have bought two used Nautiques and neither have been through local dealer (Buxton). Never had an issue with service.

This is awesome to hear. I have had a similar experience with silver spray sports in Michigan. Jeff and Patti are the best of the best.

@nyryan makes a great point. Jeff and his family have been into watersports forever too. Never thought about that. Makes it easier when you love the water.

Buxton is top notch, no doubt about it. I've owned several boats. When I went to purchace my first Nautique back in 2012 I delt with 3 other dealerships in the Florida area. I went to Buxton while I was visiting in the Dallas area because I was moving there due to a work transfer and I was immediately impressed. Andrew was awesome and very patient with me. "I tend to be very OCD when it comes to boats". What put them over the top for me was how I was treated after I bought a boat from them back in 2012. Phil and his team truley treated me like family. They always remember my wife and kids names and were warm and welcoming when ever I came into the dealership. I am a "do it yourselfer" type person when it comes to maintenance on the boat. Their service department is great with helping me get what ever I need for servicing and giving me any tips I may need for the task. This past summer my wife and I were at the boat show looking at what the other companies had to offer. We ended up buying another Nautique from Buxton. Phil and his team alone were the only reason why I wouldn't consider going with another brand or dealer.
