    2016 G25 to 2017 G23 ballast questions

Hey guys, I am just about to pull the trigger on trading my 2016 G25 for a 2017 G23 for this season, and I have a question concerning additional ballast in the G23, for strictly surfing. In my current boat, I have an additional 1500 lbs in the rear lockers, but I know and have read that the 25s and 23s are a bit different. I will probably be having the dealership put the 750s in the new G, but, from reading, it seems that on the 23, I may want a bit of weight in the bow as well? If so, I would assume the best way to tackle this is with lead, but how much lead should I drop in the bow with 1500 additional pounds in the rear? I was also thinking of changing out the 750s with 1100s, but that may be overkill.

On the 25, I typically ride with the rear lockers almost maxed out, and an additional 200 lbs of lead on the port side, just to compensate for prop rotation. Thanks in advance for the help. I wasn't going to trade this year, but some of the new cosmetic changes are just so nice!

My opinion: start with factory and the 750, take some extra people with you to test if you like more bow weight or not.
