I'm looking at purchasing 2004 sante 210 and just had a buyers check sone on it. Cold all cylinders were 195 except 6, it was 185. Warm all cylinders were 200 except 6, it was 190. What is normal compression for the PCM 330 and should I stay away? New to rowboats and this is for my son, so I oils rather not purchase a headache. Thanks in advance.

I can't speak for the compression but I can for the 04 210. I have a 05 210 and love the boat. IMO these boats are classics and will never go out of style but I might be a little biased! Good luck on your purchase. Send some pics if you buy!!

My opinion, That's fine for compression 10 psi isn't anything to be too concerned about. Your within 5% of the other cylinders. A 5 % spread from lowest to highest is really good in my opinion for a 14 year engine that probably sits for long periods unused throughout the year. If you want to try and figure out where your losing that 10 psi compared to other cylinders then do a leak down test those are always best because they will tell you where a cylinder is leaking from vs just whether or not it's leaking but my personal opinion is that engine is fine as far as compression testing is concerned.

Those compression numbers are well within spec,no worries on those at all.

That's not bad, only slightly above average. I have about 600hrs on the same motor and it has preformed very well throughout. If you purchase the boat I would recommend replacing the distributor cap about every 3 years, known issue with that motor. For me, other then that, replaced plugs and rotor @ 400hrs and the low pressure fuel pump @ 500hrs when it went bad.
