February 26 and the Docks are in the Water

With a very mild winter and a string of warm days, the ice on our lake is gone.....thought about putting the docks in the water, a neighbor offered to help so in they went.
Docks and jetski lifts are in, boatlift will be soon.
To think, two years ago we had the coldest February on record and the ice on our lake was still over 30" thick on March 1st.
I'm hoping for an early start to the boating season this year - looking good so far!

I'll be joining you soon! Last year got my first ski in on April 16th and last on November 12th. I'll take that for a Michigan boating season!

We rode here in southwest PA on Friday Feb 24th. Water was 52, air was 76 in the afternoon. Pretty comfortable with a 3/2 wet suit. A buddy just wore a heater top. Pretty amazing but nice to knock the rust off a little earlier this year. Then it snowed Saturday night.
