I never thought the interior was junk! Just believe it looked dirty from the pics.

I'll find out this weekend! I am stoked to see it! I think I'll end up pulling the griffin decals for a cleaner look and doing all new mocha Seadek at the sunpad, trim pieces & swim platform

jshack01 yes they let me know yours came up! Gorgeous boat

I'd have a look at this one. And I wouldn't touch the one you originally posted. Even if the interior does clean up nicely the fact that it was that bad in the first place shows how poorly maintained it was.

I have tried contacting that owner. Phone number doesn't work.

The boat was maintained by Pride Marine in the Muskokas, should be mechanically sound

Sounds like you're pretty set on this thing. Just please do a solid inspection of the rudder area and fix any structural issues. I had a boat from a different manufacturer that developed spider cracks like that at the rudder and when I inquired I was told it was purely cosmetic, well 2 weeks later the fibreglass failed and that boat sunk.

In the two sets of pictures (winter and summer) the same pattern on the right rear upholstery is present. It appears that is not something that will clean up. Not the end of the world. As mentioned before the cracks around the rudder appear cosmetic. And also mentioned it shows a lack of care. What has not been mentioned with a rudder that looks like that, is the prop which looks OK in the photos but may be bent and I would assume the prop shaft is also bent. So there is another $1000 USD plus. Possible the prop shaft and prop have been replaced from the incident that caused the damage to the rudder. But that comes right back to the issue of how the boat was cared for, If, and I would assume the rudder, prop, and prop shaft were all damaged in the same incident. However, only what was needed to put the boat back on the water repaired. If this is how the boat was treated always, you need to inspect the boat and I mean every aspect of it very carefully. There may be other areas of neglect or half maintained systems. You may come out OK on this deal. Just fully know what you are getting into so there are no major surprises. If I was the mechanic who did a prop shaft and prop replacement I would have at least touched up the rudder so it did not look so bad.

62k CDN for a 2012?? Pricing makes little sense, this is way low!! In any case, I've seen many fake ads on kijiji of boat trader where the prices was out of whack vs comparables. Hopefully you got the info you needed from your visit at Pride and maybe you got the boat after all. I too must say that the 2nd set of pictures looks nothing like to first one.

I've had a bunch of boats (5 of which were Nautiques, 2 Malibus along the way and some others) some of which started as projects and others which were cream puffs when I bought them and I'll have to say that I'd rather start with a boat that was cared by the previous owner than an abused boat like this. I just don't see this being a winner when it's all said and done. A trailer for that boat is going to be $5K-$7K (new), plus all the time and little expenses along the way to shine up that turd. To each his own, but the asking starter price for this isn't even worthy of this thread. There's no chance that the proper maintenance was done on that boat. No chance. A person that will abuse and let a 6 year old boat deteriorate like that gives zero f@#$s about it. My opinion only. Should you purchase, I wish you the best of luck and hope you can bring it back to look good, but I'd run, not walk from that beast.

Went and checked out that boat. My 1996 super sport nautique was in better shape.

The interior was junk. I was told it could be cleaned by the service manager. Maybe with bleach mixed with acetone...

                        The search continues...

Sometimes walking away is the best choice. I drove 9 hours each way to walk away from a nautique before I found the right one. Good luck!
