Order options

I am placing my order and I am hung up on a few of the options. What is worth it and what is a waste?

pocket door vs slide in door? Opinions? Does pocket door rattle? Any issues?

phender pro? Opinions? I like idea. Worry about kids putting them and handling the bumpers with the big inserts.

Table? Never had one in my previous 210s. But may be nice for evenings hanging out at end of day riding.
They seem real expensive for what you get.

I have no experience with the pocket door. I can tell you that the slide-in door does not rattle.

Phender Pro depends on how you use the boat. Do you dock-hop? Do you raft up with other boats and hang out? I like them. I don't know what you mean by "big inserts." They're not big at all. They're the size of an aspirin bottle.

The table doesn't get much love here at all. I wouldn't buy it. It's too small and it's one more thing you have to stow when you're not using it.

How about a heater? It's a pretty popular options.

Dual-batteries are a must-have. IDK why that's even an option.

Probably need to know more about where you are, and your needs in order to say much more.

Heater was happening for sure. Never skipped they one. Love it on way in every evening. Dual batteries and on. On board charger will be included. I put that in myself on current boat. Boat will be in Northern California. Mainly lake Shasta. I was doubtful on table. But I have considered it. Used it once in a buddy's Malibu. It was nice. But once in many years.
Mohave been struggling between g21and g23. But I think I hav decided on the 23 because of the increased storage. Probably don't need to start cluttering with tables and other crap.

No on the table. I have had a few boats with them, and they never got used. But your usage pattern may be different. Sometimes, the only time I wanted it was when I took it out of the boat and left it in the garage because of the storage issue.

My only concern with the fender pros is that there is a chunk of metal on the end of the rope attached to your bumper pad. It seems like it would be ideal to swing around and take a dip out of the gelcoat if you aren't real careful. (or when your guests are doing you the favor of grabbing your pads). Wrapping a quick figure of eight around the cleat really isn't that hard for me, so I've not gotten them yet.

My $0.02 cents worth, buy the pocket door! I've never heard any rattling. The one thing I hated about my VLX was dealing with a slide in piece of plexiglass every time I need to keep the cool air running through the cabin! So we selected the pocket door option.

The heater was required by the wife as well as the table. Haha this is all she really cared about.

The table takes up a minimal amount of room in the rear compartment. Several of the lakes we go to don't have Beach's so having a table was a nice to have.

As for the pro fender it was a inexpensive option so I did it.

Pocket door does not rattle at all. I have gotten it on every G23 I have ordered.

They aren't in the same places as the cleats. Phender Pros are where you need fenders, not where you need dock lines attached.

Well to me they're just dumb. That's something you find on a runabout, not a wake boat. Some people make the case for one due to having older, less-mobile people on their boats.

They aren't in the same places as the cleats. Phender Pros are where you need fenders, not where you need dock lines attached.

They have not been a problem for me personally in the stock location, and our docks usually have rollers constantly coming in. I then put a line around the tower and one of the cleats as well and it holds just fine. Admittedly, I don't spend much time on a dock, because of the traffic, FWIW.
