    New 2016 210 pricing

Im looking to get into a 210 and have been shopping online for a few months. The dealer here has a left over 2016, sticker is $101,000. He is down to 78, 000 with trailer.
Attempting to attach the build sheet...
Does anyone know how much room he's got left on this? Should I be trying to beat him up a little more? I know my way around a car dealership and invoice but this will be my first new boat purchase.

    Thanks!

The see dealer cost .com website shows dealer cost the be around 65% MSRP. I don't know what kind of trailer, but take 5k off and you have the boat at around 28% off MSRP. Dealer has around 7k in profit at this point. I have never bought a new vehicle or a new boat, so I can't tell you how low the dealer will go. But I think If you have a good relationship with them, you would be able to order a new 2017 with similar discount and get the color/options you want. I would want the ZR4 engine that is now standard in 2017.

We paid just a few grand less than that for our 2013 three years ago, it was a year used with 18 hours on it. Ours is loaded but that still sounds like a solid deal.

Sorry to play the devils advocate here, but why would anyone buy a used boat at only 25% off MSRP when several people have reported buying new boats on this website at 25% off or better? The only reason I can think of is avoiding sales tax which varies between states. In WI, sales tax is due on new or used sales, so no benefit. As it stands, the boat in question is only a few thousand less than a well negotiated new boat. Also, wouldn't he be better off buying a GS20/22? I'm looking at used 210s, more than one person I talked to is selling to buy a new GS.

Could be distance . Some people don't have a dealer within a reasonable distance . Or could be color or options

MSRP on that boat is $112k which does not include a trailer, dealer prep/freight (and not sure what else I can't see at the bottom of the page), but at $78k of $112, that's less than 70% of MSRP. That's a VERY good deal.

IDK, I can't load the image, but the OP listed 101K, which is around 28% off when factoring in 5K for a trailer. 101K seems about right with the base price at $89,900. Base price for a 2017 is 95K.

I'm clearly in the minority here, but I strongly suggest you take your money and buy a new GS series boat or a used G.

I can't speak to whether you should get a GS or not, but if you are set on a 210, that is a great price. That's basically what a 2013 cost in 2014 (same situation as you, new last year's stock).

Thanks everyone for your input. It sounded like a good deal to me. I'll be needing a new lift as well so I'll make sure they do that at cost and install for free.
I'll ill also be looking at the new gs20 they just got in when I go on Friday. Looking forward to getting into a nautique one way or the other.

Why? The 210 is the flagship boat and frankly our family loves them as well as many others. and good luck buying a G for 78K with a trailer .

I say buy it . Its a great deal and you will love it

Personally I think 78 is a great deal for that, without the trailer it brings the boat price to the low to mid 70's. I don't think you'll touch a GS for anywhere near 80, it will probably be closer to 90 without a trailer, shipping, etc.
