Calling all Ballast Experts. 2004 SV211 upgrade question

I am in the process of upgrading my ballast. I have removed the hard tanks. I really need to know what is the largest Sac I can fit in the rear port locker. I have searched and found conflicting answers. I am going to put the same size on both sides. I am ready to order whatever I need and just want to make sure I get it right. Any advice for the floor ski locker would be great too.

Measure your compartments and have wakemakers build some custom sacks for you. It doesn't cost that much extra to go custom and then you get maximum fill/weight.

I'm in the same boat as you... I have my hard tanks removed and I'm trying to figure out what bags to order. The tankbuster kit from Wakemakers comes with a 750lb bag and a 400lb bag for the walk thru side. I think a 600lb bag would fit in that spot but would like to know for sure before I pull the trigger.

You can put a 750 port and a 400 stbd. Not sure if a 600 would fit stbd, would probably pop walkthrough up. Can put the 260 on top of walkthrough. No room for anything in compartments at all when bags are full. got skiis in my center locker, but a 260 fits in the walkway. the 260's come as a set called side sacs. the underseat bag for the front is almost a waste, not enough room under cushions, a 400 fits up front in the seats. The 370 lb tube sac fits under stbd passenger seats, again no storage left. I figured out if I want all the board time, I don't need storage, just a driver. If I fill the boat with people, don't need as much ballast, just more storage.

I removed the rear hard tanks and put 750's in each side. The port side wouldn't fill completely but it's unnoticeable, and it's better than having that much smaller bag.

Final recommendation - pick up a set of the wake makers engine panel savers - when you start filling up the bags, especially the starboard side, they will start to bow, even with custom ones!
