    Worst thing about the G23

Just took delivery of my new G, love the boat!! Problem is, there is soooo much storage it is next to impossible to keep organized. I am sure somebody has come up with a great way to orderly store all their ropes, jackets, etc. Any innovative ideas would be great! Thanks Nautique for a great product.

Ropes and jackets go in the rear compartments. Ropes hang from the hangers on the side of the engine dividers. Anchors go up front. Honestly, most of my compartments aren't even used.

I keep worrying I am going to break off the hooks for the ropes. So I have never used them. I think I am going to have to try that. I am nuts with life vests, I have like 25 of them. My boat partner and I have separate sets that we had when we came together, and still have somewhat of our favorites. Lots of times then all end up in there.

Even with that, there is room for the ropes! And that is just one side. The other side has a 5 man water weenie, 2 other tubes and a bunch more space.
Under the port bench is a bunch of towels, small parts for inflation of tubes, an inflator, a hand pump, and an onboard charger. The starboard bench seat has ropes, ropes, a flag and couple of more ropes and a backup flag. Helmets for hydrofoiling go in there also.

The gargantuan space under the glove box has a spare propeller, battery jumper box, a hefty tool kit for tire change, prop removal tools, a milk crate full of cleaning supplies and small towels for the wipe down process. The bimini cover goes in there when we put up the bimini. I can store a ton more stuff in there if I wanted.

Up front are the anchor, tie down ropes, 2 fat dock guards, a couple of spare dock bumpers, and a shore spike.

Glove box has a spare impeller, a few tools, spare ballast impeller, a whole bunch of hair ties, bobbie pins, chapstick, sunscreen, miscellaneous nuts and bolts, a folder with the insurance, registrations, manuals for various things and a tutorial on what to do if the boat doesn't start.

Is there anything I have forgotten?

Put an extra 1000 lbs of ballast in each rear locker and you'll still have room for ropes and life jackets.

We leave the extra prop, tire changing stuff, wipedown stuff, covers etc inside the truck at the launch. Oh, and with all of the tubes, pumps, etc do you still have room for boards?

Why would your tire changing tools not be in the tow vehicle? Seems like you wont need it on the water....

I sometimes use a different tow vehicle, and have a boat partner who is for sure not going to be that kind of prepared. So the boat makes most sense for trailer tools, but it all fits in the acme prop bag, so not a lot of space is taken up, and I have room to spare.

I forgot to mention, even with 20 or so life vests, I can get 2 pretty large surfboards in the compartment. I do have to remove a bunch of the vests to get them back, but not too big of a deal. They stay in the board racks while out on the lake. The biggest piece is my hydrofoil. I don't want to have to take it apart. It fits on the floor if I flip the observer seat up (the seat in the middle of the port bench). Then it goes into the rack as soon as we arrive at the lake.
