So last fall I purchased a 2013 G23. love the boat it is amazing. The one thing I have encountered on our boat vs other G23s I have ridden is that we cannot get the starboard wake to peak out like the port side. Just to fill in on experience, myself and my regular riding crew have been at it for a long time and have had many boats and understand how to set up wakes, balance for curl/wash etc. We have tried every combination that we can think of to try and offset this to get it as good as the port side. Draining balast on port/or starboard, adding 200 lbs to observers locker, adding 200 to the starboard rear locker. Just various combos. We have gotten close but the port is always has a distinctly better lip, and what I have experience behind other Gs. Any input or anyone else experiencing this would be great. The boat would go from absolutely amazing to perfect if I could figure this out. We did have a Ronix rep tell us he has heard of people having some work done on the hull that have had this situation, which seems pretty drastic to me.

Thanks for your response, yeah it has NSS. I guess I didn't really clarify that. This is for wakeboarding and not surfing, I don't believe the NSS deploys at all for wakeboarding. I guess it would be possible that is isn't retracting all the way or it is deploying when it isn't suppose to.

Thanks, yeah that is what I was thinking was the case. Just kinda wierd on my boat like I said, have tried so many combos to get it to match and can't quite get it, but other G's had a better peak on the starboard. Just hoping someone might bring something up that I am overlooking.

Its prop rotation that you are fighting, as I'm sure you are aware. Although, isn't it usually the starboard side that is better? Either way, you may need to go over the 200lb offset depending on the weight of the driver and where people are sitting.

Since your boat is a 13 is it possible that the NSS was an add on. If so could one side be mounted slightly different than the other. Also verify by looking at the NSS to make sure the when the NSS is turned off that both sides are identical. I have heard were an actuator on one side might not be functioning properly and leave one side slightly deployed. A very small difference would cause the effect you have described.

Thanks you euro, yeah typically about 200 up in observers seat area balances these out pretty well, I have tried so many combos of weight going to keep trying. jphdrake thanks yeah good point I should check on the NSS and make sure they are even and retracting the same. Not sure if the NSS was added or factory going to check with my dealer. Thanks for the input everyone, this NSS mounting has me very curious!

Just got done talking to my dealer NSS was added, I am going to check it out and make sure everything is even. This is awesome at least now I have something to check for, LOL. Been riding for a long time and had many boats so getting this thing to even out has been driving me nuts, usually just get in any boat and get it set.

I would check the NCRS actuator, mine was not fully retracting last season and it really messed with wakeboard wake. The NSRS position indicator showed it was moving to 5, when it was only in the 2-3 range and inconsistent. The first time it happened I thought I had a ballast tank self draining, my setup was full factory plus 500# lead (350# port &150# starboard). I had the acutator swapped out under warranty and got our great wake back! Hope you figure it out soon, good luck.

I always run auto/on NCRS, but it would not move to 5 in manual either. It may not be a great idea, but I killed the engine at speed with no ballast and NCRS set at 5...jumped in the water and NCRS was not all the way up. Your dealer should be able to diagnostics on the trailer to make sure the actuator is operating correct. This may not be what's going on with yours, this happened mid-season and my rider could immediately tell something was wrong.
