Custom Ski Locker Sac - Help

I have a 2001 SAN 210 that i did a ballast upgrade on 2 years ago. I'm having trouble with the custom ski locker bag that i installed. I ordered a 78"L x 12"H x 27" bag from wakemakers. I got those measurements from some other posts, plus did a good bit of measuring to verify it was close. When measuring it's hard to account for the hull contours i find. Problem is that the bag i have is slightly too wide (or too tall) and keeps popping open my ski locker every time i fill it. I thought the overflow would kick in before that would happen, but not the case.

Anyhow, those with similar hulls can you tell me what size bag you're running in the belly and if you having the same problem?

I removed my stock belly hard tank. Here's a custom belly sac I had wakemakers make for my 02 set up to run all the stock fill and empty pumps and back corner vent. Did add a top vent on top to tie into the back corner stock vent location to prevent any air pockets forming as the bag fills. Couldn't tell you if it works because my boat is in torn apart right now but my belly hatch has a latch that secures it shut so it shouldn't pop up. You don't have a latch for you belly locker? It would be easy to install one and that should solve your problem? One problem with this custom bag is its pretty expensive compared to in stock bags like you have currently.

One other option. Put a ball valve on the fill and close it off before the lid pops. I use one on mine as the rear hard tanks and piggyback bags take longer to fill than the locker bag - all are on one impeller pump.

If I don't shut the locker ball valve some of the pumped water spills out the vent so it takes even longer to fill the rears.
All in my fill / drain time is about ten minutes with this procedure and maybe 1800 lbs total.

It's a bit hard to describe, but when the locker door bows up the latch becomes unhooked and pops it open. I think I'm going to order wakemarker's universal fit bag to replace the one i have. i think the 70x25x10 will work without pushing up on the locker door. Considering the ball, but i kind of dont want to baby sit it. that was the problem last year and there's just too much other stuff i'm trying to pay attention to while operating the boat.

I had a similar issue when I installed a sac in the locker of my 210. It would vent but after the hatch would shift a little. I would keep and eye on it when filling and when the hatch started shifting I would stop the pump and empty until the hatch was flush again.

I have the same issue with my 2001 SAN 210. The one time I didn't watch it popped my locker hatch open. I keep an eye on it now and don't have an issue but I also was able to slide the sac up farther to the bow and now the locker hatch is more out of the way.
