Buy some u-channel, add felt, get a piece of plastic cut to the exact dimensions. DONE

Unfortunately it's not that easy, the upholstered panels go all the way to the front of the walkway when ordered without a wind dam. I priced the parts last year, slide-in with new upholstered panels was $1400 and pocket door was $2500 before installion. I considered using a heavy vinyl that would snap or Velcro in, but ended up just putting my throw coushin to block wind or nothing. I may look into it again, just not sure what anyone would ever spec a boat without one.

do you know if the upholstered panels are push on clips? similar to a car door panel or are they screwed in from the rear.
shouldn't be to hard to get an upholsterer to adjust the panels then fab up some white acrylic panels and dam to install?

I did our 230 last year. Bought parts from dealer and you do have to shorten the walk through trim panels but you u can also buy them if your not handy with that kind of stuff. It's not hard but takes a little time. After removing walk through trim you take lose the vinyl from edge the needs shorted. You'll need to pull back far enough so that you can cut the plastic board on trim panel. Seems like it's about an inch or so that you remove. Round of the corners after you cut panel to match the old radius then re stretch and staple vinyl back. Stainless staples are important. I will say the factory slide is a nice part. I couldn't make one as nice as it and plastic is pretty expensive so I bought the kit that had all parts and screws.
