X2 on Exile, I use them on my dock when the boat is parked on the side and I keep them on the dock for the season and they do great. Also great for tie ups. Can easily deflate/inflate on the boat if storage is an issue and if you trailer your boat. They are thicker. Mine stay in the sun all season... on my 3rd season with the same ones with no issues

FWIW I have used the hippity-hops for about three years now, and they are tough. I think it is key to not inflate them so that they are hard...they absorb shock better without tearing. I have used mine against metal floating docks at Norris, where I thought the wave action might be a problem, and they never ruptured. They are bigger and less expensive than the Exile ones too.
On the Skull bumpers, my friend bought a set a few years ago. They are crazy durable, crazy heavy, and crazy expensive. (I think more than $100 each) I would not buy them at that price point.

I also like the Exile bumpers. It's so nice to be able to deflate them and store in a small place. I've seen them have sales on them before so you might be able to get a group buy going.

I got the 8 inch diameter x 20 inch in lenght. I purchased 3 of them to use for either left or right side of the boat. If you go with this fender make sure you purchase the Big B Fender Hangers( see image below) as well . They come 3 to a pack for around 11-13 dollars.; m akes for a clearer finish vs a rope knot at the bottom of the fender..

Exile Bouy balls are the ONLY ones I've ever owned that don't put rub marks on the gel! Plus they give you ample space between other boats when tying up. They probably aren't the best option when tying up to a dock as they my get popped on something sharp if it gets too rough. But I love mine! And they deflate easily if you need to save storage space (which on my G this isn't a problem so I leave 3 of them inflated at all times, tied to the phender pro's ready to snap in place!)

Taylor Made is what I've used over the years.
Met the folks over at Megafend when I was down in Miami for the boat show: https://citimarinestore.com/en/431-b...marine-fenders. Look to be decent quality fenders.
Hearing good things about the Exile buoy balls here... something to keep in mind for the future.

NautiqueJeff Do you have a link to those SeaDek fenders? I'm curious as well but google wasn't helpful in finding any.
