Looks like the boat was blown out of its dock hoist because it was not high enough out of the water. The vessel parted the two cables of the lift on the port side and was blown back in to the seawall and dock.

I'm in San Antonio and heard there was 70-80 mph winds on Lake Travis this past Sunday. I know for sure one marina sustained damage and I heard several boats were damaged also From the pics above, I can't tell if this is Travis....and that boat sure looks like it was in a crash....not wind damage...but you never know.Comment

Eagle Mountain lake near Fort Worth, we had some 70mph winds come through that night
I don't remember seeing this boat before, but will pour some out for it just the same.
There were several boats that got un-moored that night but this is the worst I've seen. Some dive/recovery company has these pictures posted on facebook as they are pulling it out.Last edited by kend; 04-05-2017, 11:30 AM.Ken

I just shed a tear...
Good call Jeff, I was trying to imagine an accident that would cause so much top side damage, with not so much on the bottom. I was especially worried that the driver went through the windshield, but I think that makes more sense that there was some sort of weather related dock catastrophe. Most of the windshield is completely missing.
Looks like that boat got beaten repeatedly with the ugly stick.Comment
