    T-minus 22 days...

until we pick up our first Nautique!!! It's not as nice as all of yours but I've waited a long time to become a boat owner and I'm glad I went with a Nautique. The people on here have been awesome at answering very basic questions from me and other new boat owners. It truly is a great family. Docks are in (mine will be in the right when I am at the cottage, otherwise, it will be stored in the pole barn. In laws new Lund fishing rig gets picked up today and goes in the lift. Gonna be a great summer.

Mike, you should try to find a lift, used 4k lb Shorestations are usually not to hard to find for under $2k. Makes a huge difference in keeping your boat from getting beat up. If not in the budget a set of mooring whips or even a couple poles or anchor points on the other side of the boat to help keep it away from the pier makes a huge difference.

Yep, looking at lifts now. Probably not in the budget this year but we will see. There is virtually zero wind all summer where this is positioned. Plus the bayou starts just to the right so we don't get boat traffic with waves. Got some covers on the poles and some nice soft fenders for now. I'll look into the whips though.
