Wonder why the transom seats have not become an option on the G series?

I don't see myself liking the transom seats. They are illegal to use while underway around here, and I just don't see us sitting in them while chilling out. I also LOVE the huge openings to the hatches on the G boats. To compare the Malibu, it seems like you can hardly get anything through the opening because the transom seat takes up space.

I would sure hate to lose any space in the rear compartments on the G.

Yes even though you could sleep in the rear G23 storage areas , your points noted above make sense.
