    My GS22 Demo Thoughts

We spent some time demoing a GS22, going out in it twice. My overall impression is that it is a nice boat and well built/thought out. The ski wake is great, and the wakeboard wake is really good. The surf wave may need some tuning if you want to really amp it up, but is good for a family of varying ages and skill set out of the box.

The boat itself handles really well.

All in all, this would be a great boat for the family that wants to play in all three disciplines somewhat equally.

So far the surf pics of the GS boats have been less than great. I have to believe somebody can set this boat up to surf well. We'll see more about this as boats arrive and water temps go up.

I hope you are right. I have a GS20 in production. I'm gonna add sacs in the rear lockers and under the bow cushions so we will see. I would like to have a G, but its not really in the budget plus towing and boat storage were big concerns with a G.

A good day on the water with various bags or lead ought to do the trick.

              My $.02...........
Just rode behind a GS22 today.

I haven't surfed behind a G21 or G23, but the starboard wave on the 22 was long, with a good amount of push.
Maybe could use a little height, but for my level of riding the wave was really nice.

I did notice the small ridge the op was speaking on the port side, but it didn't seem to bother the guy that was riding that side at all.

Anyways, I agree the photos didn't seem all that impressive.
In real life though, the wave was much better than the few photos circulating indicated.
