I was in between a G21 and GS22. I wanted the 21 and ended up settling on the 22 for family, rec and ski reasons. After 2 months I traded the 22 for a 21 and couldn't be happier. The G21 is a far superior boat in my opinion. The wake and surf right out of the box is bigger and better shape. If u set the NCRS to 0 which is fully extended the ski wake at 28-32mph is comparable to the GS22. We added extra plumbing and bags to our 22 and all it did was make the steep wake, steeper. The shape doesn't compare to a G. The interior seating is deeper and more comfortable. The tower is bigger. The ride is better and drier. If u want to tame the best shaped wake in the industry just set the NCRS to 0 and it is beginner friendly for any sport at a recreational level. Don't get any of these boats if you plan to ski at a competitive level. 200 is the only way to go for that. But we will rip the course on a wider slalom ski at 28mph no problem and tons of fun. G series Nautique can't be beat.
