    Fiberglass or gel issue?

    Not sure if this is normal but on the sides of my bow in front of the decal below the rub rail you can see the criss crossing lines of the fiberglass thru the gel. It is tough to make out in the pic but if you zoom in on the water reflection you can see the lines. Anyone else have this?

    I would say that is not normal and maybe the gel is really thin there. What year is your boat?

      My 15 has some of the same.. I think that's it may have to due with die back.. at least that's what we call it in the collision industry. All of the solvents in paint or gel in this case dry up and you can see the substrate below.. I don't think it's an issue and probably could be color sanded and polished. I'm not going to mess with ours...
