Has anyone had any warranty claims for the hull deck or stringers. If so when did the claim arise. I have never heard of a boat with the no wood construction having issues so I am curious as to the problems that have occurred and when they became evident.

I had a warranty claim for 2 cracks in the grey gelcoat covering the inside of the hull. I had 2 cracks in just the gelcoat and top laminate (DID NOT extend into the stinger fiberglass) on each stringer right where the engine cradle is fiberglassed to the stringers on my 2003 SANTE. I noticed them while doing routine maintenance. I hadn't hit anything... The cracks just appeared. I watched them for a few weeks and they didn't get bigger, but contacted my dealer and sent pics. This happened about 3 years into ownership. After some discussion with dealer and factory Nautique decided to have the boat shipped back to them so the factory for repairs. In all the repairs were made and I didn't have any real complaints. I'm at about 10 years after the repairs and haven't noticed any more issues.
The complete drivetrain, fuel tank, belly ballast tank, and most of the carpet was removed for the repairs and inspection to make sure there wasn't more issues which is why I jumped at the chance to send back to the factory. Nothing else was found. Nautique couldn't really come up with a reason for the cracks other than a fluke.
I can't say enough good things about how the factory handled the repairs and the CS rep who unfortunately no longer works for Nautique kept me updated and answered all my questions as well as helped me out on a few things my dealer couldn't at the time. Dave Hendricks saw the final steps as the original CS rep left towards the end of the repairs.Jason
