    07 220 Surf Setup

Always browse this site and decided to sign up and make a post! I have been having my 07 super 220 for 7 years and all we do is surf the goofy side. I have the delta and the wake is nice but I was just curious to what everyone else's setup is. My setup is factory ballast full, 400 in the front, one 400 in starboard rear locker and 400 on top seat behind driver. The delta says to evenly weight your boat.. but that does not work. I have to put the boat on a lean for the wake to clean up the wash. I recently ordered a 370 sac to go under the seat behind the trash can and I'm going to plumb it in to the factory tanks. Usually have about 4 to 5 people I boat also. I attached a picture below. Its a nice wave just wanted to see what everyone else was doing for weight. Thanks

I have a 2007 210 SANTE (just got it last year) that's in our local shop right now getting ballast piggybacked on the rear and center hard tanks. I think 740s in the rear and around a 500 center arrow bag. I made my own "suck gate" last year and will be modifying it to a 45 degree wedge from the 90 degree I originally built it at ($60 in parts).

I'll post once I have it in the water and fully weighted for surf pics.

Last year we ran the boat with the center and rear tank with about a 500lb Sumo bag on the side of the surfer. Had the Perfect Pass set at 10.3 mph. Made a pretty nice wake, just want it longer.

Here's a pic of my homemade suck gate.

Glad you started this...I also have a 2007 220. My current set up is run all stock tanks full, 100lb of lead + 400lb sac on starboard + half full 400lb on the port. I also run a custom NSS system plate.

The wave is clean , but I think I can make it longer by running more weight, particularly in the bow.

I'm going 10.7-11.2 depending on the water conditions.

Mike, what speed are you going? Do you have any actual surfing pics? I'd like to see how far back you can surf the wave. Click image for larger version

Hey Man.. Sorry for the late response.
I am running all stock tanks full then 400 lb bag on starboard side with a 370 lb under the starboard seats. The port locker depends on how many people I have in the boat and also have a bow sac that depends also if people are in the front. This pic is with 6 people in boat and starboard 400 and 370 full with mission delta. It is long and nice. I really like it. Took me a while to get it dialed in but I can replicate it every time. I see you have the FAE.. I just got one and it is awesome. This is a 12 mph also.. The 370 lb sac under my starboard seats by the trash can is what sealed the deal! Click image for larger version
