When does the next years model info usually become available?

I've been too indecisive about the boat I want, and my dealer is saying all the builds for 2017 models are pretty much full. When can you usually start placing orders for 2018 models? Any expected changes for the GS22 (surely not) or the 230? Would I be made aware of these changes before the ordering process opens?

I honestly prefer the look of the 230 (traditional bow, deeper freeboard...) but I'd love to see some of the interior design from the G/GS brought into the 210/230 line.

2018s start being built in July or so. If all of 2017 slots are for customer orders, not dealer inventory, then I'd start getting a 2018 build slot now if you want a boat built to your taste. It's too early to know what changes will happen in 2018. When you build a boat you can make changes up to a certain date. Time to claim a build slot now.

Anyone else confused on the deltas between 210/230 and GS20/22? I'm purely speculating here (and I have no standing to do so) but you think the 210/230 could be at the end of their run? I loved my 230 but if I go back in time to 2012 I would have probably chosen the GS22 over the 230.

Any word on a new 200 for 2018? That was the scuttlebutt a few months ago.

Interesting. They are VERY different boats and we know virtually nothing about the GS22 right now. Yea, we've seen it in videos and at shows but there is little to no knowledgebase on it here. I really considered the GS22 but ended up staying with the 230 for several reasons:

              - The GS22 is all new. There was no way to really know much about it so I'd be buying "blind."

              - The GS22 is all new. Almost for sure, Nautique will tweak the design after the first year.

              - It's really a crossover boat. Designed to wakeboard, surf, and slalom decently. None of us slalom. We only occasionally wakeboard anymore.

              - The jury is still out on the transom seats. My neighbor has them on a MC and they're utterly useless. Good idea on paper, but not practical at all.

              - As I understand it, none of the seats are hinged. That's just ridiculous.

I have a 2008 230. I thought the gs22 was going to be a great compromise when I did a demo, but it did not excite me.

The lack of hinges and storage space was a big factor.

Great boat but not progressive enough for me. I expect more from nautique. It's what we pay for...right?

I keep seeing posts that the 210 /230 end is coming but I truly think that's wrong . They are totally different than the G or GS series boats . I don't see these leaving anytime soon . It's kinda crazy because most haven't used or ridden a 210/230 and assume that g or gs is only way to go . Ride these boats first .

We do both. I have a 2017 SANTE 230 and my buddy has a G23. We usually alternate which boat we take day to day. They are different. Nobody refutes that the 230 handles way better. Nobody refutes that the G23 wakeboards way better. The surf wakes are different. The G23 has a taller wake, but it isn't as long. We all agree that both surf wakes are very good, just different.

Only seats not hinged on the gs22 are the ones forward of the windshield and the small seat covering batteries.

Good deal. Sorry for the misinformation. I was going off of what someone else told me.

                        Thanks!

No problem, haven't taken possession of our gs22 yet but did see it at the factory! Went to Orlando for a tour and did some skiing while we were there. Great trip!
