G23 for Wake Series

Nautique posted this G23 on FB. It will be the boat pulling this years Wake Series events. Let the opinions fly!

Personally I wouldn't choose a red interior but it's a head turner for sure which is the point of an event/promo boat.

I like the solid grey...Miami Nautique had a solid grey with no decal and black chromax a few months back and it looked super clean!

Solid black hull/deck would be better with that interior. A lot of older show cars that have that black outside/red inside combo.

Love the solid grey of both of those boats. Grey hull is 10x than a black hull, IMO.

Yeah, that is my favorite interior scheme on an all black old car. I would like to see this on a boat with a black top deck.

Of course being from Ohio I would love to have that boat pulling the Wake Series Events. You think after the series they would trade for my 01 SAN??? lol

Does anyone know how much weight they have in the boat for these competitions? I assume its not stock ballast.

Pretty sure they ride it stock actually. That's how all the contests are pulled where I'am from with about 6-7 additional ppl in the boat watching. Same with surf contests.

I would put money that they have put extra weight all over the boat. How they arrive at the right recipe, I am not sure, but these guys are not going to be happy with stock wake.

I wouldn't be so sure. I follow a lot of the riders on social media and the personnel boat wakes compared to contest are a lot different. Especially how much pop they are getting for some tricks. In contest they have to work for it more. I know for surf contests when they are using a G23 they don't add any additional weight except the people and stock ballast all full. And that's coming right from a pro riders mouth that I spoke with at my boat show.

If you watch the videos that Nautique posted from this weekends event it looks to me like a stock G wake.
