    2011 230 or 2012 210

    Friends,
I made a deal to sell my 2000 SAN today. I'm looking at a 2011 230 and a 2012 210 for similar money. What is the consensus? We mostly surf. My 6 and 7 year olds are actively involved in the activities as well. I'm wondering if the 210 might be the better option as I can (I think) add NSS. I'm also no stranger to a sacked boat and a suck gate so on that front the 230 is still good. My 2000 makes a killer wave with sacks and a suck gate.

    Thanks!

You can add NSS even to the 2011. While not a direct plug and play it's still easy. Quite honestly though I added NSS to my 2008 210 and a buddy runs a suckgate . The wake is just as good with the suck gate.

The 230 surf wake is much better. No doubt about it.

The one one thing in the mix that adds little to the decision is the kiddos. If they're gonna do any type of skiing or wakeboarding the 210 wake is much more versitile. If that's a non issue 230 all the way.

How did you add NSS to your 08 210? I have an 07 SANTE 210 and would love to do that, but thought you couldn't.

^^^ Solid advice from swatguy. FWIW, I traded up from my 2005 210 to my 230 and the increase in floor space and elbow room is awesome. So worth it. No more stepping around people and sacks and plenty of room to stretch out. The surf wake is hard to beat too.

Oh cool. Didn't know you could add NSS fo older ones. What's the cost on it? The NSS is appealing to me because you can hange sides on the fly.

I've worked on a 230 NSS for older models. If ever you're interested I still have a kit in stock.
