White Lake Nautique convention and Murray's record setting day!

Here are just a few of the pics I took at the Nautique convention at Whit Lake Marine last weekend and during Shaun Murray's successful attempt to break the world record. This little lake (or large Pond) is pretty wild to visit. Almost every house around the lake has a Nautique in the lift! It's pretty cool. Granted most of them didn't actually take part in the event. However, even though it was windy and the water was rough, Shaun did end up breaking the record, and all behind Nautiques! Jeff will probably post up an official thread on this, maybe with the video footage they shot that day, but I just wanted to share a few of the photos I took. Maybe some of you all will find yourself in there!

How long did he ride for?? Like length of time overall from first pull to last. Had to be a marathon in those conditions and sending it behind every boat.

He spent a total of about 3-4 hours riding. It was pretty continuous too. Not much down time between boats! He even went for a few extra passes when he had some time too. The man is a beast!

That's amazing! Shaun and I are about the same age and I know I couldn't even come close to doing that even with out the inverts. I would be completely winded and exhausted after about an hour in that rough water!

Evening Shade, that's what I was thinking! I'm 36 and I thought that was close in age to Shaun too. He is definitely still sending it and keeps himself in amazing shape to pull that off! He's such a nice and humble guy too; never met him but that's how he comes across

Nice pics Beg4Wake. It was def. an awesome weekend, and to have Shaun on my boat and get to pull him, well that don't happen every weekend at my lake. .... I hope Whitelake puts on another event like this in the future, and we will def. come back. Here's a few pics I had on my Phone. f
