    2001/2002 side console net pocket

Anyone have a picture of the netted pocket in the side console panel of their 2001/2002 nautique? My boat I'm restoring came with the netting missing so I have to make one from raw materials I picked up at Christine's Marine. I could use a picture of how the netted pocket what sewn together. It's the big main pocket in the console right below and to the rear of the throttle. Should just attach to plastic hooks on the backside of the console. I believe this was standard on all 2001 and 2002 nautiques. Thanks in advance if anyone has or wouldn't mind getting me some detailed photos.

Will that netting come out for a picture of it by itself not installed in the console? thats what I need to figure out is how it's sewn together, where the seams are and if it uses a nylon trim and bungee. A few of the plastic hooks on the inside of that plastic console are broken off on mine and so will likely epoxy new plastic hooks on or figure out another way to attach that netted pocket....

They come all the way out. Just held in by hangers.

Looks like you'd be better off trying to fab something up with fiberglass and make it a storage cubby.

Hmmmm interesting didn't think about that. Would be more useful as a cubby. Maybe shape a mold out of foam block. I'll give it a try see how it comes out.
