    Propeller Upgrade

I had read Luke's review on the different Acme props and was interested in replacing the stock prop. The size prop that was reviewed was for a v-drive. I believe the prop for those are bigger. Are there any recommended prop upgrades for the direct drive? I'm looking for the same preformance gains as Luke. Better hole shot without sacraficing a lot on top end.

I have a 03' 206 and use it primarily for wakeboarding and add alot of weight to the boat. I went with the "hi altitude" prop (not sure what size it was) and it had a little better hole shot but it caused my RPM's to increase about 600rpm's so I took it back and had some of the cup taken out of the stock ACME prop. It works great. It has much better hole shot and does not affect the rpm's. I did not lose any speed either. I checked with a gps. The owner of Valley Prop in Ventura, CA could not understand why the stock prop had so much cup designed into the prop. Good Luck!!
Sadest day of my boating life...selling my 81\' Nautique. However, replaced it with an 03\' 206 Air Nautique. Still the best boat on the lake!!!
