    2017 GS with Linc screen

Just had our boat on the water for the first time this weekend. I love the idea of the panaray...but does anyone else think it is difficult to quickly find certain settings? I like the stock settings for certain activities, but I think that screen is difficult to navigate. It seems to want to save settings anytime you make a change, which I find annoying. It was difficult to find the proper screen to see the water temp when someone asked what it was.

I think it is going to take a few hours to get really proficient with set up. Also, it would be great to have some redundant switches somewhere. I cant imagine trying to load the boat on the trailer with 2K in ballast because the screen went bad.

Generally though, I love the streamlined look, and everyone seems to think the awareness cam is pretty cool. The boat is very roomy, very powerful even with the base motor. Full ballast and it jumped right out of the hole with little to no bow rise. Huge wave up the transom and the bow dips pretty low when slowing down...going to have to watch that until it becomes automatic.

Handles very differently than my VTX. Low speed handling is very muted compared to the VTX and turns are less sharp at speed, remeniscent of the first MC X2 (picklefork) that had No tracking fins. Its great through chop and rollers though.

Yeah it's always a pain to get used to new tech for me. Takes awhile, but you get there.

I understand where you are coming from. The linc panoray gets easier to navigate with time. One thing I couldn't find over the weekend is where the engine hours are displayed.

I agree that the boat doesn't track as well as my old 210. My only other complaint is that the windshield isn't tall enough and the rear view mirror is right in the way of your forward line of sight.

The more you use it the easier it gets. There is a shortcut menu that you can customize and add your most common functions there. And right beside that is the Vitals menu which shows your air and water temps.

T-Rex What screen do you have to be in to see the engine hours?

I think that is on the vitals. it is also in a "bar" in the upper left side of the screen.

Correct, it's on the main screen up at the top in really small font. Haven't figured out what half of those icons mean.

Is there a way to make the "Aknowledge Risk" message not come up on the Panoray screen every time I power the boat up? I can understand its purpose, but I don't need to see it every weekend.

I don't remember seeing it there. That's where I expected it to be, but maybe I over looked it because it's so small. I'm curious if what is displayed in that upper left hand bar changes depending on what function you have the Panoray in? Could this be the reason I didn't see the hours?

No, pretty sure the hours are there all the time.
from memory the icons at the top left are for the mode your in.

If there is a way I would like to know as well. I can't stand this prompt. Drives me crazy.

Happens in the 2012 Wrangler and my 2013 Ram...every time you start the car...minor things, and I doubt there is a way to really remove it.
