My NVS speaker brackets are stripped and not usable. Does anyone have any ideas on how I would go about getting replacement brackets for a speaker company that is out of business? As you can perhaps see from the photos, there is a bolt that goes through the bottom part of the bracket into the mounting area behind the speaker. The speakers still work fine, but I can't hang them from the tower without replacement brackets

. Any advice would be appreciated!

Go get a set of Helicoil (threaded inserts). http://www.helicoil.in/
You need to drill the hole bigger, re-thread the hole according to the helicoil you chose and install the helicoil. Bingo you have new threads, no need for new brackets.
Any hardware store will carry them.

I should have mentioned that I was told I can't rethread the holes because the brackets are too thin and re-tapping them would make them too weak. Given that these already fell off of the tower when the threads gave out, I'm not willing to take a chance of that happening again. Thus, I'm looking for replacement way to get these back up

Monster sells generic tower brackets, but you would have to contact them to see what weight they're rated for.

You could also go to a machine shop and have them make you new brackets that are slightly thicker so you could use an insert (helicoil) or have them put a hex shaped counterbore on the far side for a nut.

This one might work as well. I wish I could find the ones I used to have on my first set of tower speakers, as I am sure they would have worked.
