Jump Seat on 230/236

Guys,

I just picked up a reverse jump seat for my 236. It is in a box dismantled. Can someone take a pic of the bottom of their seat where it connects to the boat? I think I may be missing a bracket. Thanks,

Bump. It looks to me like I need a washer and trailer hitch pin to keep the seat attached? The stainless rod with a slit cut out is present, I just dont know how to keep it mounted? Anyone out there? Thanks...

Thanks for sending this pic. Yes, this does help. Is there a pin that holds the seat in place with the bolt that goes through the hole? When I place the seat in my boat it wont stay put if someone leans back?

When you set the seat in the boat, the 'bolts' go through the holes and there is a latch that holds the seat in. It clicks in and you have to pull a lever to release each side of the seat from the boat. My guess would be that your boat doesn't have the latches if it didn't come with the seat... I can try to take a picture of the latches next time I am at the boat.
