    G23 Bunk Spacing

Would anyone be able to provide me with the distance apart of the stern portion of the bunks on your trailer from outside bunk to outside bunk on a G23? Not sure that it matters the year if the new hull design in 2016 did not change how the boat sits on its bunks.

Drew you a picture. These are rough measurements of our Phoenix trailer. Boat is currently on the trailer so I can't get perfect measurements (of the front) for you. As you can see, there are 3 pairs of bunks. The first pair--in the back labeled 1and 2-- are 41" on center and there are about 36" between them; they angle out as you go forward on the trailer. The other two pairs angle slightly inwards; (drawing is not quite right.) The second pair is the longest and at the front there is about 16" from the center of the trailer to the center of the bunk; or about 32" in between the two bunks. (I see I did not write that distance on the drawing.)

I can try to help you if you want any more information from me.

I'm trying to figure out bunk spacing for our new lift that is coming soon. Manufacturer is suggesting two pairs of bunks.

Can anyone comment w measurements of bunk spacing w a lift that is currently good for a 2016 G23? I'm thinking 32" apart and 42" apart.

    Thanks.

Why? There are plenty of G23s on my lake sitting on a single pair of bunks. Set the bunk width to be 32 inches inside-to-inside and take a look at it on the lift. Adjust as necessary.

Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for...

I think that four bunks had to do with the 7K lift that I have; switching to an 8K with completely different bunks.

Interesting. The lift company on Lake Gaston sells a 10K pound lift and it STILL only uses 2 bunks. The go to a heavier cable, heavier I-beams and steel structural members above to distribute the load.
