They seem to be going for around $14,000 or so. That's pretty remarkable when you consider the fact that brand new in 1994, that boat probably sold for $34,000 or so.

I'd say 16k is excellent condition.
I'd then adjust down for the condition of the boat particularly the trailer, vinyl or engine.
In your case I'd want to know is that 200 hours on the original engine or was that rebuilt.
I am selling my 1995 sport for 13k,new trailer and interior but the engine is a little tired.
a 1994 sport Nautique with 200 hours on it and looks rather in good shape .
looking to ski and wakeboard .
So what's the ball park value
thanks

Robert I don't know if this help you make a decision, but I just traded by 2001 Sport Nautique in excellent condition to Webster Marina on Smith Mountain Lake for a G23 and Webster's gave me $10,000.00 for the trade. You could call Websters and ask what the sale price is for the 2001 Sport Nauiture ( Gray color). My boat did have high hours at 994 hours on the trade
My buddy paid $12.5k for a really clean, low hour, GT40 '01 Sport last spring (with tower and Ramlin trailer). $14-16k for a '94 seems really high, or maybe it's just the WI market?
Any options ( tower , Bimini skylon barefoot boom) ? What engine?
14-16 is way high for a stock 94 even in great shape. 12-14 I could see easily and is a much better deal. However there are those few gems that look like the day they rolled off the showroom floor and those are worth what someone is willing to pay for a mi t boat. .
The problem is that if you know what to look for little things can swing the value quickly on something and it comes down to what you are willing to live with. Covers, trailers, gel repair costs add up quickly. Most people factor in engines and probably over weight them when looking at a boat. A nice tower can cost 4K with board racks and Bimini.
I tried to use 16K as the starting point for a perfect boat then take off cost of items from there. 10 year old rusty trailer, knocks 2 to 3k off a boat with a brand new trailer. Old cover, take $500 off.
I think a 94 would usually go for 10k to 12k assuming no major issues.
