Dealer sent me a copy of the 2018 pricing. The stern thrusters option is called "Nautique Integrated Steering Assist" and it's $9688. Not a cheap option, but could prove helpful in some tricky situation or for a new inboard driver.

Here is some unofficial info on the 2018's, not based on any announcement by Nautique.....

          There is a GS24, along with the GS20 and GS22. The G21, G23 and G25 remain, as do the 210 and 230.

Here are some of the new options and standard equipment for the G23:

          Some Things Now Standard:
          GoPro Tow Point
          Strapless Board Racks

          Some New Options:
Enhanced Courtesy Lighting (Customized Colors on Illuminated Cupholders, Courtesy Lights and Interior Chromax Badging) - $2,114
GoPro Ready Quick Mount with Dual Transom Attachments - $494
LINC Panoray - Paddle Wheel for River Mode (Supplemental to Zero Off) - $98

          Frost grey
          Sahara Sand
          Mojave Brown

          Tahitian Lime (+$500)
          Sublime Green (+$500)
          Reef Blue (+$500)

Exterior Colors (additional charges may apply to various colors):
          Mystic White
          Tungsten Grey
          Onyx Black
          Victory Red
          Solar Red

The GS and 2XX series boats do not appear to get the strapless racks as standard equipment, and no steering assist.

You have got to be FREAKING kidding. $10,000 for a bow thruster? A bow thruster?? It should come in WAY lower than 10,000. And if you can't dock a 23 foot boat without a bow thruster....then you might want to practice a little. I'm not saying this to dog anyone...but in no way do you have to be a docking or driving pro to enjoy a G23 or get it to go anywhere you want with a little touch and patience. $10,000 for a BOW THRUSTER on a Nautique????? I am floored.

I agree that 10k is way more than I would pay. It sure would be nice to help maneuver the boat when it gets windy. The G23 is a challenge with all that freeboard "sail" in the wind. I'd like to see the paddle wheel supplement in action. I hated having the paddle wheel alone but can see a benefit for a hybrid system.

also, to be retrofittable to replace the Polk POS in older models....
This is the greatest news I've heard through all of this! I have so many probs with my Linc communicating with the Polk HU. They just don't work together well! Being able to retrofit it to a 2016 would be fantastic!

Oh, and RGB lighting is LED lighting that include Red, Blue and Green LEDs throughout the strands which allows it to change through an entire array of colors including red, blue green, purple, orange, yellow, etc. It is actually capable of displaying 16 million different hues of colors.

I will believe the "retrofit-able" when I see it....seems like they would rather you upgrade to a new boat than offer something for older models. Not saying its not a possibility, just gonna have to see how they offer that option (and at what price point).

I too have a hard time seeing how it could be retrofitted. I hope this means they learned to be universally connected is better than having proprietary unreliable crap...AKA Pebble fiasco.

Thrusters on G boats would be very cool. Would like to see those.

Agreed! My wife had to park our G23 on the left side into a 20 mph sidewind with the reverse kick working against her. She gave it a valient effort but the experience made her question if she should be taking the boat out on her own.

Curious to see what they look like as you really need the thrusters in the rear to help with the reverse kick IMO.

Of all the possibilities, this one is the most exciting to me as well. REALLY hoping this is true, and that Nautique will shortly do a PN substitute for the new head unit. Was going to take it in and have them look to warranty replace it, but now I may wait for some firmer news on this.

I think that Nautique has built an amazing boat with the G-series, and I am definitely a fanboy, but would love to dial the audio system in more.

My belief would be since Nautique has switched everything over to JL (except HU) the logical step is to use JL's MediaMaster platform.....has anyone used this HU on other projects (ATV or other marine boat)

Sent from my SM-G935V using PLT Nautique mobile app

Agree! And it's not a bow thruster. It's a stern thruster. Much less functional in my opinion. One can buy integrated bow thrusters with joy stick control on a SeaRay or other major boat for under $5,000. In my opinion by charging nearly $10,000 for stern thrusters Nautique is going too far. I certainly will not pay that much.
