You are correct. The new HU will be the JL MM100.

As for retrofit, I'm not sure on the 2016...... the LINC panoray in the 2017 has the NMEA 2000 connector. The previous screen in the 2013-2016 doesn't. The 16 was touch, but still the same hardware as the 13-15 (the trim just covers the buttons, and they used the touch functionality on the new software).

you don't absolutely need the NMEA 2000 plug to incorporate it (MC has incorporated it on the exact same screen that is in the 2013-2016 Gs).... but it's not as easy, and probably requires a complete newly developed software, so that might not happen.

would be nice if Nautique did do something about it though. For such an awesome boat in every other regard, the Polk head unit functionality has always been a complete joke.

Thanks Greg...I was assuming it was a bow thruster....but still...10,000?? So to answer the two posts above..after mine...Yeah...your GONNA see it....but for $10,000 dollars...and your comment about needing a thruster in the back to help as opposed to the front has been answered by Greg. Don't get me wrong...I love the thrusters....use one all the time on my dad's Whaler 350 Outrage......but will be really curious to see how well the Nautique "Booty Scooter" will perform. Some people are getting decent older Nautiques for 10 grand....yeah...for the WHOLE boat.......LOL....LOL.....

I posted the statement from Nautique on 2018 stereo backwards compatibility in the stereo section. In short, it WILL be backwards compatible with the 2016's and 2017's, eventually.

They have a 200 CB and 200 OB, in either a "classic" or "progressive" exterior color scheme. Not sure of any details beyond that.

If they really need bow-and-or-stern thrusters they ought to just bite the bullet and roll with twin screws.

Edit: and on the big Sea Rays with the Zeus pod drive, you can move a 50 footer sideways or any direction or spin it in a circle with the joy stick.
The Zeus pod drive is really freaking amazing.

Good to hear for a real river mode on the cruise. A paddle wheel is a must on these boats as a gps system is not working properly on a river.

Did the G23/25 options sheet that was posted and taken down have a Surf Select option? I don't recall seeing it.

I'm very curious as to what the newest solution is for mobile tech integration is for Surf Select.

I missed some exterior colors! There are metallics:

                        Gunmetal Flake
                        Jet Black Metal Flake
                        Medallion Metal Flake
                        Bronze Metal Flake
                        Victory Red Metal Flake
                        Sublime Metal Flake
                        Reef Blue Metal Flake
                        Masters Blue Metal Flake
                        Admiral Blue Metal Flake

I heard there is a gold - assuming that is medallion flake?

Yes...on our old Whaler 350 Outrage, it had the bow thruster...but we didn't have the Joystick. The new 350....2017 model with triple 350 Verados...it runs entirely off the Joystick using the motors. It does not have a bow thruster any longer.

I saw a Tige with gold metal flake, and it was so nice, actually one of the best looking boats I have seen. I was sort of unimpressed with the idea until I actually saw it. I suspect Nauti can pull it off even better.

I almost crapped my self when I called the dealer and the told me the price of there average g23 was going up 15-20k usd. Not sure if it is true or are they just trying to scare people into buying 2017s ? I wounder if it will ever back fire on them? I

Here the same at my dealer too, as long as they are still able to sell them with the price increase it will go on and on.
