Anyone use a FAE on a sport 200V?

Well I made the switch from my OG210 to a 200V. I've always liked these boats since they came out. Not sure if it will be long term but its a cool boot so far. Except I noticed when surfing that the exhaust is much stronger than the 210. The 210 never bothered me, but I was immediately able to smell the exhaust with the 200V. Looking at doing a fresh air exhaust but wanted some feedback before I spend the money. I'm assuming it will be as good on the 200V as anything else...

We also have a 2012 Sport nautique 200V. That's a great boat but I agree the gas smell is definitely bothering when surfing. Did you finally end-up purchasing the FAE for this boat? Any feedback or alternative?
We are also using the boat to slalom (at relatively short lines) so any impact on the surf and/or slalom wake would not be welcomed.

Not sure about the 2011 but the 2012 should have cats on it, ours does and I never smell anything when surfing.

No cats here. 12 was the first year.

I figured out that part part of the smell was though. The plugs were weak. Not enough to miss. But it wouldn't make full rpm so knew something was up. New plugs and away she went.

Dont know about your specific model....but I put an FAE system on my boat this year. I really like it, zero smell or exhaust while surfing and is like a stereo upgrade cause its so quiet...I almost pulled trailer out with boat running a few weeks ago cause the engine is so quiet. I noticed zero effect on wake or handling on my boat....there is sometimes a fine spray from the pipe, I think a lot of that is due to the deep V of my hull tho, and Larry at Fresh Air Exhaust says he has something he has designed that should stop that. Kindof weird cause if there is spray...I can adjust the trim tab all the way up, then back to 30% and usually stops the spray. Not enough to effect surfing anyway unless wind is blowing it in your face. Great mod tho, really like it.

I like that model and it reminds me OG210. How do u compare wakeboarding wake between two.
