    Nautique 210 Surfability

Hello all, I am currently on the market for a used boat and am considering a 2009-2010 Super Air Nautique 210. The seating configuration and build quality have always sucked me into Nautiques. I have always owned malibu boats in the past with the most recent being a 2006 Wakesetter VLX. We wakeboard and surf about 50/50 now and was a little concerned with how the Nautique will surf on the port side of the boat. I am assuming that I will need to look at some kind of a wakeshaper as I prefer not to load the boat with tons of ballast an list to 1 side. I have been poking around in the forums and it looks like the suck gate setup with minimal ballast works pretty well. I am looking to see if anyone has any complaints or issues trying to get a good surf wake out of a boat with the similar hull shape.

The 210 will surf great on the port side if 2008 or newer. Extra weight would be needed. The hull was the same from 2008 thru 2013 so an add on shaper should work. I demoed a 2008 a few years ago and liked it.

Here's a thread I put together on dialing in the surf wake on a 230: https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...summary-thread

The vast majority of this should apply to a 210. Actually I wish someone with a 210 would get their boat dialed in and comment back on that thread so we could have a good place to keep all that information.
