    Grab handles on 210

Has anybody ever removed the grab handles on an 07+ 210? My youngest fell and got his arm trapped inbeteeen the handle and transom, nearly breaking his arm. I'd like to either remove the handles completely and fill the holes or alternatively fill the gap with something to stop little arms from getting in there in the first place. Any ideas welcome.

Geez, that doesn't sound like a good time. How about wrapping the handle with a foam grip to make the gap smaller? Maybe there is some kind of webbing that could be wrapped around to prevent accidental entry of a limb?

Thanks, I thought about tieing some webbing in the gap, or cut and profile some polypropylene.

Weld a matching polished stainless plate in the gap. Doesn't need to be continuous weld to ensure strength. Doesn't have to cover the entire hole to block a hand. Don't weld close to the FG so as not to burn it.

Heat can be controlled on the ends by the FG with wet rags.

We had a little girl have the same thing happen in our 2000 last year. Scary! Luckily no broken bones
