    2014 210 max ballast question

I have a 14' 210 with the stock 1100 lb ballast system and NSS. The surf wake is lacking. I have been reading a little and I know wake makers are the ones to go to for an add on system for my boat. I would prefer MAX weight bags in the trunks and bow area. I do not have the trays in the trunk so I do not care about that. Does anyone know the max bag size ( dimensions and weight ) I can fit in these areas ?

    Thanks,
    Mike

I put fly-high pro X series in mine. They are around 750# each and fit fine in my trunk (I took the trays out). There is still room for a couple jackets and boat bumpers even when filled. In the bow I put 200#s(4 50# bags) of lead as it takes up less room under the seats.

I have 850s (plumbed in)in each side of the trunk. Wakemakers may be able to make you something custom if you want to go bigger... not sure it'll improve your wake that much however. In the bow I have a 550 under the seat bag and that's all you can fit under there which is more than enough. That's piggybacked off of the belly tank

do you know the dimensions of your sacks ? Wakemakers has a new kid who does not know anything trying to help me and I am not confident.

This is what I got... would suggest getting a pro ballast kit from them for the lockers and a piggyback kit for the bow. Was a pretty easy install ...

I would strongly recommend having them build you a custom setup. They built a really nice setup for me last year. The cost difference is negligible and you get something that's custom made for your exact boat which will maximize the weight you can hold without bulging all over and out of the compartments. They set me up with the Sumo 850 sacs for the rear and the compartment support kit.
